Contact Hours for IT at Newcastle University

The IT department at INTO Newcastle University is available to students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We will respond to any questions you may have, and assist you in any way we can.

Our office is located at the Loyola Center in Newcastle. We have a full-time director and two part time assistants that look after the needs of all students studying at the Center.

The University has one of the largest IT teams in the country, with around 23,800 students and 5,600 staff. The IT team supports all student activities, including teaching, research and learning.

Located in the North East of England, Newcastle University is a member of the Russell Group, representing the best research-intensive universities in the UK. It has several internationally renowned research centers and is a leading force in international business, government and the law.

Several languages are taught at Newcastle – from Chinese to Japanese, French, German and Spanish, as well as the basics of Catalan, Dutch and Italian. Fortunately, the University of Newcastle has an excellent 24-hour security team to ensure your safety on and off campus. Its other attractions include its eponymous red brick building and a world-class library in the state-of-the-art Central Library.

IT Service Desk

The IT Service Desk at Newcastle University is open during desk service opening hours. They can be contacted on their website or via phone.

The contact hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm EST. The IT Service Desk at Newcastle University is located in the King’s Gate Building. You must have your Durham campus card to visit the desk services area.

In addition, students can purchase an international sim card for their smart phones. This will allow them to use Skype or WhatsApp and text back home.

Living in Newcastle is affordable and can be as little as $3,000 per semester by NE Solutions Ltd. This covers rent, food, entertainment, and travel. Most students also buy a local cell phone with a pay-as-you-go plan. This will allow them to talk and text with their friends and flat mates. The local phone will also be a great way to keep in touch with people back home.

The IT helpdesk can be found in the basement of a rather imposing building on the south side of campus. Our effervescent team of IT wizards is on hand 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to offer the latest in technology. IT Support Team

Newcastle University is a research-intensive university located in the city of Newcastle upon Tyne, North East England. It is one of the Russell Group universities.

Founded in 1834, the university is divided into five research-led academic schools: The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences; the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law; the School of Medicine; the School of Modern Languages; and the Graduate School. It also has a number of research centres, including the Newcastle Institute for Social Renewal and the Newcastle Centre for Lifecourse Studies.

Its campus is situated close to Haymarket in central Newcastle upon Tyne. It is surrounded by open spaces, with Leazes Park to the west and the Town Moor to the south-west.

It is home to some buildings and facilities, including the Students’ Union building, which features a bas-relief carving of the Latin motto mens agitat molem (mind moves matter). The campus was recently renovated with new teaching rooms, a science lab and a restaurant.
